Anyone watching Qualies?

Man that silver car is pap! icon_lol.gif looks like they have settled on 15th pos thats if they dont need to change their gearbox! No sympathy for Hamilton either icon_lol.gif

Brawn GP are doing blindin'! Really happy for Button, Give him a fast car and he will shine. All this talk about Hamilton, Button has been really underrated.

Not looking like KERS is achieving its potential, 5 of the cars that have it are out! icon_lol.gif

Excellent start to the F1 season! icon_cool.gif

Q3 here we go...

Come on Button, awesome qualifying! He has been a long time and really frustration with Honda. He could be rrunning light though but still take nothing away from it. This is releasing is true potential. Hope he does it tomorrow. No surprise from Ferrari or Mercedes really.

Well done Vettel too, it was definitely time for clumsy Coulthard to go!

Good to see Jens on pole. But what did you think about the commentary team? Obviously Martin Brundle is superb as usual, but I was left very unimpressed by his co-commentator. Also, the post quali interview with Ross Brawn just looked like a jobs for the boys exercise. He was simultaneously interviewed by Eddie Jordan, David Coultard and the new bloke (still can't remember his name). It looked really odd icon_confused.gif

I just hope that Brundle takes the lead commentator position when the race starts and that other new bloke (can't remember his name either) sits in the background making Brundle's tea.

I just watched the qualifying excerpts online - like Box says, other than Brundle, the commentating team leave a lot to be desired - bring back Murray "And..There..He..Goes" Walker icon_smile.gif

I'd more or less given up on F1, having loved it during the days of Mansell, Prost, Senna and others, but I'll give it another go this year, as a) it's back on BBC and b) Branson is now involved with Brawn GP.

Best thing so far, though? No ferkin adverts! icon_lol.gif

If the commentator annoys you, make a comment to the BBC here.
I did.

I do like F1.

Brundel (Martin) is a legend for his efforts in 1994 at the Aussie GP. Last old school driver we produced. Great commentry from a man that actually understands the machines that propell (sic?) the robots who now drive them.

Ive been priveleged to be sat in a 2 seater F1 car and the G Forces are immense. I mean IMMENSE. When you see the driver at work, the forces are plainly obvious on his head and neck.

James May passed out under less 'G' on his programme!

Well done Jenson, Lewis..... show your talant now! A mark of a driver is how to deliver when the car wont. Schumacher proved it many times. Senna did the same. Alain Prost..... not so sure.

What an excellent race, Well done Jens! F1 is back!

Also drop Eddie Jordan, he is so annoying! Also Jonathon Legard commentating hasn't really convinced me yet.

Hamilton has been promoted to 3rd and should have been on the podium. He was overtaken after the safety car came out.
