More info' if you please.

Generally it is simply lapped no need for tape. Taping joints usually applies to surface membranes - floor, ceiling or wall.

How wide?

Use DPM jointing tape applied as per manufacture's instructions - available at wickes I think.

Create shallow tray from the dpm and tack to the walls prior to pouring concrete. Tamp down well as it is laid - any pockets on the corner will be minimal if you have created the box effect well enough in the corners. Use a fairly fluid mix - the suppliers will be able to advise, and wear wellies 'cos it can burn!!

Aha right, your post is entitled "dpc" hence my confusion. You mean a DPM. 150mm overlap on the DPM, you can use DPM tape for a "propper" job but dependant on the environment you may omit as appropriate. Vibrating poker to ensure minimal voids in the concrete. If you're using something like a C20 it should rake around quite easily (you can always ask the driver to add more water if requred). A good tamping to finish. ;)

Not sure of the exact requirements for your project but if you need to do a DPM/DPC detail you may find this useful:-
