I am about to build a stud wall, the wall will have a 90 degree corner.

So I will have a peice of plasterboard screwed to a vertical batten, with another peice of plasterboard screwed to the batten to make the corner.

This will make the corner untidy and and weak.

If the wall was going to be built out of blocks, a metal bead would be used by the plasterer to make a sharp corner, but what do I use to get a good finish when using plasterboard construction?

Many thanks.

A metal bead, normally called a skim bead tacked to the plasterboard, i'm sure the profesionals will be along to give more advice though

fine coat corner bead if the stud wall is to be skimmed, or metal corner tape if you are taping and filling. dont forget to tape all joints and junctions as well.
