Sort of a strange request....

I have an airing cupboard that the bottom half is unusable (due to a split level flat)

I want to put a chair in front of it and still have acess to the top half so was thinking a stable door would do the trick.

Problem is all the stable doors I can find are external and hence cost ££££.

Where can I get a cheap, oak (or oak veneer) stable door that only has to be suitable for internal use.

Door is standard dimensions.

Help appreciated folks.

I'm sure you could get one made by a carpenter pretty cheaply. I have just had 13 doors made by a carpenter in Handsworth, Birmingham for 660GBP.

Yep, thinking thats the way ahead.

Considering buying a planked style internal door and getting a chippy to make it into a stable door - reckon I can get one from Howdens for about £65.
