I have just built a new garage and would like to fit a consumer unit to distribute the electrics. MK and other makers do not supply a wiring diagram with their product......against the 'rules' they say.
Can anyone provide me with a generic wiring diagram please. Thanks

Don't forget, dependent upon your supply type & whether you have extraneous conductive parts in the garage, you cannot export the earth.

You may, provided you install suitable main equipotential bonding.

OOI - Pentland, when you applied for Building Regulations approval for the garage what did you tell LABC you'd be doing to ensure that the electrical work would comply with Part P?

Thank you everyone for your replies. Building Regs have been done on regular site visits. I think I have enough information now. Much appreciated.
