Hi folks

I have started to replace a close board fence in our garden and half way through I have encountered the problem that due to the roots of a neighbouring tree the panels sit rather unevenly on the ground with some sitting higher than others. I would like to level them out and am wondering whcih tool would do the job of cutting off the tops of some of the panels quickly, easily and accurately. I'm guessing some type of power saw/wood cutter???

any suggestions would be much appreciated.

thanks

hand circular saw, run it along the top.

Perhaps screw a temporary batten below to enable you to keep it accurate.?

If not pressure treated wood, remember to treat the cut ends.

axe and a crowbar... cut the roots off... they're trespassing on your property and damaging your fence..
