My shower doesn't switch on as it should. I have changed shower hose and it did help but not any more. I believe it is the controle and wonder if anybody knows if you can repair it (service it) and how to get it off the wall.

If changing the hose made a temporary fix then the inlet filters on the pump/mixer may be blocked.
The pump/mixer is usually mounted in the loft, in an airing cupboard or under the bath. Turn the power off first and expect some retained water to spill.
