firefox - not responding

last few days im getting loads of probs with firefox and the not responding message, i have uninstalled and reinstalled compleatly wiping everything.

anyone had this problem? and do i just bin ff for ie (which is having no probs) or is there a solution?

I run the latest version of firefox with no problems to date. I am on Vista.

I however, get the 'not responding message' often when using IE8.

Previous posts on here have pointed to the latest Flash 10 causing possible problems with firefox, although I don't think they have been proved, other than rolling back to a previous version of flash appears to have cured it.

Search these other posts for possible help.

I have the same problem with ff and ie, using ie at the moment been ok for week or so, but has started playing up today - xp proffessional.

i looked at the other thread, have now upgraded to 3.5 beta, it is woeking 80% better, best i can hope for for now!

i might fiddle with the flash next to see if i can make it 100%
