A tonne bag is (nominally) 1m cube, so one of these should do the trick.

I wasn't told to use gravel when i dug my soakaway, just broken bricks with a permeable membrane on top, then soil/turf for the top 18" or so.Posted: Sun Jun 21, 2009 10:02 pm Post Subject:

A tonne bag is (nominally) 1m cube, so one of these should do the trick.
1 cubic metre of water (1000l) weighs 1 tonne. Gravel sinks, so you will need more than 1 tonne.

most bulk bags sold are not a tonne, normally closer to .8.
weight has nothing to do with density
