Hot water option not working on boiler control panel

hi i've just moved into a new apartment and its equipped with an arca pocket 24 boiler. The boiler works find when the central heating is turned on but when i turn on the option to heat the water supply nothing happens. I've no experiance with gas boilers so can anyone point me in the right direction of where the problem could be. thanks.

I'm afraid that I have never heard of Arca boilers, so cant help you.

Yes i'm not renting. Just bought the apartment about 3 weeks ago and only checked that the central heating worked before i moved in so never noticed the problem. Think i'll have to get a plumber to have a look. Thanks for the link.
