Skirting /beading or both

Hi, i have completly striped my dining room and placed TandG panels around the walls at 32inch , i have removed the old skirts and paneled down to floor boards, i am putting WEF down . My dilema is should i put beading then skirting board or just beading , or just skirting. Not sure what would look ok , i am not very good with the final touching up when it comes to the asthetics,i thought the wife might give me some idea but she cannot make her mind up either . Any advice on what the norm is would be apreciated . Thanks
