thickness of concrete for pad?

Could somebody give some advice on recomended thickness for a new concrete pad for my oil tank to sit on. The tank is 1250 litre plastic and my current plan is to move it about 6 foot from its current pad to the new one. It currently sits on a slab of concrete with then a combination of breeze blocks with very large patio flags on top on which the tank sits

150mm thick and project at least 300mm beyond the tank on all sides.
