Hello everybody (it s my first post here)

I have got all lights flashing on my washer dryer, indesit widl 146. Several times, I had just to unplug and replug and wait for a few hours. But it doesnt work anymore :(

I got it opened today to clean everything I could but it's still flashing
:(

What should I replace and where to buy it? Or should I consider to get rid of the machine.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks, it does help.

Apparently, problem would come from the dryer heater relay.

Do I have to trust blindly the code or is there any way I can double check the relay is faulty? Is that something I can replace easily?

Cheers,

You could measure whether or not you have a voltage across the element terminals, if not it would seem to be a good indication that the relay is indeed faulty.

I tested the relay (or what I believed to be: something right on the top where hot air is blown). I had 4.1v between the element and earth at the entry but I could not access the other end. I dont think I would get anything anyway as the relay would be ON only during drying process. The machine does not even start.

Where can I buy a new dryer heater relay?

Nothing on indesit webiste :(

Thanks

Hello,

Unfortunately, they do not have the part ;(

I talked to an engineer who could open and diagnose the washing machine for 40 quids plus part : do you think that s the way forward???

Regards

Hello rocks1,

How easy is it to remove and fit a new PCB?

Also, PCB are quite expensive. Are you sure this will fix the problem?

If yes, I will change it (or get it changed).

Thanks.

pcb is plug and play ,found at the rear of mc send to that company they will test it for a fiver .if its faulty cost is 45 new pcb fom indesit cost 90.00

Thanks to everybody who helped, particularly to you rocks1.

I ordered a new PCB (actually not new, but repaired pcb) from the website suggested, and I changed it myself. It was quite straight forward after all.

Cost was about £50 inc VAT provided that you return your faulty pcb.

:)

Have a problem with my washer/dryer
The light to the right is blinking. As i understand its the column to the left that describes failure codes: Light 1,2,3,4. How about the column to the right?
It just blinks and wont start.

Wrote it abit wrong. Its not the one to the right. Its the one to the left(between the sun and 9h). Its not blinking but the diodes are blinking starting from top and and ending with the buttom 1. Lighting constant.

Checked filter and chanced the doorlock. Im wondering if its motor triac its wrong with? Is it the component called BTB16800B(in a housing like standard 3 pin LM7805)?
