hi all,

Im looking at yearly costs for a limited company (electrical contractor) and I've made a guess at accountancy fee's being £2k a year, is this unrealistic / over allowed?

Can anyone reccomment a good accountant in Kent?

If you're a one man band and the accounts are fairly straightforward, it will be about half that.

Shy is about spot on. I pay around £850 quid in fees plus accounting insurances (against spontaneous tax inspections etc).

its a partnership there is 2 of us with equal share, would that make much difference?

Nope, the difference will be how you present your own bookkeeping to your accountant. Get some quotes and make sure you get a fixed price - including phone consults - instead of an hour rate.
