Refilling Vaillant ecoTEC+ combi boilers.

Hi there,

What is the correct procedure to refill the system when it has been drained down?

ISTR something about running a test program or something.

I know that you refill it by opening the two grey taps on the underside of the boiler.

The grey taps are for re pressurising the system.

A careful procedure should be used to fill the heatexchanger to ensure it is not fired up with air inside.

Hold the plus button whilst turning the power on until P0 shows.

Then press the 'i' button to select the self purge program.

It's in the manual that your fitter left with you when he installed it. Also available on-line from Vaillant.
