Hi,
I am going to (attempt) to install a new cooker hood with an extractor this weekend. There is an extractor hose already in the ceiling from an old extractor fan which I am going to use for the new cooker hood.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on drilling a hole in the plasterboard ceiling and connecting the hose.
Also, any other tips on a cooker hood installation would be greatly appreciated. I am new to DIY! After dealing with cowboys I decided to attempt a few things myself!!
Thanks

First question - are you aware of the wiring-related requirements of the Building Regulations which came into force on Jan 1st? __________________ I mustn't warn people that the "experts" on the plumbing forum can't be trusted to tell the truth. |
