ive got a vauxhal omega estate cdx 2.2 y reg and the alarm keeps going off in the middle of the night tryed turning off the internal senser but it dosnt seem to work can anybody help my sleep deprived wife and neigbours

Check the bonnet and boot switches, do you park with all windows closed? as ultrasonic detectors are susceptible to draughts.
Have you got mice infestation, sounds silly I know, but it can happen.

Also, try the effect of closing the ventilation system by switching to the recirculate setting when you park. This is in order to obviate changes in air pressure because of wind blowing into the car.
