Minimising new roof mess

I want to have a roofer install a new slate roof. I am concerned about the amount of dusty mess that will end up in my attic insulation when current slates are removed as mine is original roof with no roof felt. Have you any suggestions to keep mess to a minimum?

nail visquin to the underside of the rafters before he starts.
