Hi All,

Does anyone have any information on the following:
I have an Ariston A150 dishwasher which has gone kaput.
It started with the power, salt and rinse aid lights operating as normal but no actual operation, there was some water inside.
I left it for a couple of days and tried again this morning, this time it drained the water, filled up a little bit and hummed for a bit.
I reset and tried again with the same result.
The last time I tried I left it humming for about 5 minutes then the first 2 (out of 4) LEDs started flashing. Now I can't reset it either.
I've had problems with the flood tray filling in the past but it just tripped the rcd (or whatever it's called) in those instances.
I've searched this forum and google but the closest I can find is post "indesit ariston error codes" which suggests "communication error". What's it trying to communicate with?

By the way, it doesn't get warm in the slightest after the humming.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the reply Rocks but I only have 4 lights. 1 & 2 are flashing.

you have a blocked drain pump it should hum when you switch it on first ,then fill with water if it dont hum pump is blocked .

Thanks again Rocks but that's not it. It drains, refills and hums. It stops after that.

By the way it's an AS150 not A150 as first stated.

circulation pump is jammed or seized .
