Evening all,

I'm roofing an extension and need to match the existing house. The existing tiles are supported beyond the gable in a normal way with the thin asbestolux type material which was in use for so long.

I have been driving myself crazy trying to find the generic term for this component with all sorts of search terms on google. My question is, how do a refer to this titem 'support, tile, edge ... etc?' and what is the modern equivalent in use now that, presumably, asbestolux has gone the same way as any other asbestos based materials.
