Hi there, this is my first post, hoping someone out there can help me!

I have a Worcester 28i RSF Combi which is not igniting. I have fitted a new Air Pressure Switch but still same problem. If I remove white pipe from connector and suck into pipe then switch clicks and boiler ignites no problem. Once I have done this the boiler operates correctly until it shutsdown and then won`t start again without my intervention. also both pipes appear clear and fan seems fine

Hope someone can help. Many thanks

Thanks for the reply. I cosidered that. If the PCB is faulty should the air pressure switch still not `make` and then the start up sequence fail somewhere else on start-up?

Also wondered if the fan might not be operating at its full capacity therefore not `making` the air pressure switch, any idea if this is likely?

ok, I take it its something more serious than an amateur like myself can rectify?

I`ve repaired some minor problems in past such as sticky fan, replaced APS, pump, but Im starting to think this may be over my head this time.

thanks

Sorry but RGI?

I take it thats just a registered person, is it? It was actually serviced by an authorised person in August

ok, thanks, taken onboard.

Anyway, does anyone else have any ideas before I call out someone?

Cheers

Is the red sealing cap in place on the flue gas sample point on top left of the boiler?

Hi thanks for the reply.

Yeah the cap is in one piece, and both the pipes are not blocked and not leaking.
