We recently moved home and are now confronted by a large (Green) Stanley Range in our kitchen, approx 12 years in age!

We would very much like to change it for something a little more flexible i.e. with a grill and indivdually controlled burners.

I am just curious to know if there is any kind of second hand market value for such items. We have mentioned this to a number of friends and some think there could well be someone out there who would be interested in acquring said item.

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

Not as marketable as an AGA, but nonetheless you should get a few quid for it try EBAY depending on condition should get £300 - £500 for it (don't forget "Buyer dismantles", ;)

There is a 2nd hand market. A company in Bedfordshire refurbs and sells Rayburns (solid fuel & oil fired) so someone must do the same for Stanleys.
