New house 3 years old has all downstairs with oak boards - looks great but creaks and squeeks. House is only 4 years old with kitchen units et all on the boards. Any obvious quick fixes to try before considering more drastic action

How are boards installed? Nailed (seceretly) on joists or fully glued down or floating?
Do all the boards squeek everywhere or only at/near the walls?
If I read correctly it's in the kitchen. Had a leak or large spill lately? (=boards expanding = butting up to wall, fixed items on floor or doorways = squeeking noises).
