Hi There;

New to the forum which is great. Replacing 2 old thermostats (Honeywell) with Danfoss TP500Si battery powered thermostats. Existing ones have 4 wires, Earth, Brown, Yellow (switched live) and Blue (neutral), New connection box on TP5000 has 3 connectors numbered 1-3, 1 marked as off,2-com and 3 as on.

Am i right assuming that I should wire the brown live into 1 and yellow into 3 on and tape off the blue.Thanks.

That won't work at all. Connect brown to 2 (common) and yellow to 3 (on).

As you say, the blue and earth should be taped off - separately.
