Skoda Octavia rear wiper help needed

Hi all

I'm trying to remove the rear wiper arm from a 56 plate octavia, it looks like its an interference fit or needs a small puller to get it off once I've removed the nut that holds the arm on. Can ayone confirm this or is there an easy way to get the arm off ?

I had a similar problem with my Fabia...no way would that arm lever off so I bought the extractor tool from Laser.
It was all it could do to release the thing too.....but it did come eventually. Leave the nut on to cover the threads when you apply pressure, and give the extractor a swift hammer whack when the pressure is on.

Thanks John, I was thinking of some kind of small puller, bit concerned about the swift hammer whack part though, especially as it aint my car, lol

Believe it or not, the sharp hammer blow is the most important bit in making the taper let go.....so long as you don't miss and hit the screen, of course!
