broag 39c kettling?

when i turn on my hot water the boiler starts making a noise like it's going to take off and pressure goes up and down.Is it kettling and if so does anyone know what i can do to fix the problem.Thanks.

I doubt it is kettling.

More likely it has been fitted to a dirty system and the crud in the bottom of the HE is making it sound like this.

This can be a problem with any boiler with a gianoni HE.

HE needs flushing out, preferably reverse flushed.
 
Is this a ralatively easy task i could do myself if so how do i go about it?
 
Yes it is, depending where your filling loop has been fitted.

The hard part is thinking of a concise way to put it into words on here :confused:

It's situated directly below the boiler with a flexi hose and a valve either side of it.
