central heating pump keep going even when heating turned off, any idea's?

how long dos it run for after boiler turns off because on most systems the pump will rum for about 3 min then power off

Pump overrun from boiler may be keeping it going.

Purpose to cool the water sitting in the boiler. May run for up to 10 mins depending on how system is piped.

If it keeps running it needs a new pump overrun stat.

For us to have any idea of whats wrong ( if anything ) you must post the boiler make and model.

Hi Tony Its a BAXI SOLO 3 about 4 years old.itkeeps running all the time
