Why fit CU? lights can be connected via SFC, also fan. I presume you have RCD protection somewhere on your main CU? NO? then you need a qualified registered electrician as this would come under PART P(special location) :(

i :l: no i dont main cu hs main switcth and fuses, at the moment i have a spur coming in to loft off ring socket thru on off switcth to a light bulb, what would be the best way to wire a xfan and lights in bathroom bellow using that cable , i have wylex nh204/63 mini cu can this be used.

You do NOT need the extra CU. You need a Switch fuse connector to feed the loft light(with the fuse changed to 3A) you can use this supply to feed the fan. Please don't take this the wrong way, but you do not seem to have the required understanding to undertake this. :(

Already have CU cables and switches was hoping to use them, spur to CU ,CU 10amp mcb to on off switch , 1 cable to fan thru on off pull cord, 1 cable to lights thru dimmer switch ,CU 6amp mcb to loft lights thru on off switch,i take onboard what your telling me regarding CU , and i thank you for that , do you see any problems with the way i have stated. THANKS

I can see the potential for all sorts of unpredictable problems arising from the fact that you do not have, as far as can be ascertained from your posts, anywhere near enough knowledge to be designing, installing and testing circuits.
