I want to erect a 4' 6" post and rail fence around a paddock - some similar fencing already exists - the new fencing would be set at least 2 metres from the roadside - does the planning apply to paddocks the same as gardens - would this need planning permission? please can anyone help? |

i would speak to the local planning office, as i would think it ios classed as an agricultural use and would come under different rules. Theyll be very helpful and give you the right answer for the sake of a phone call __________________ have grace to accept what cant be changed, strength to change what can, wisdom to see the difference |

Yes phone them, if you get a positive reply ask them to confirm it in writng, it is always safer with officialdom that way. |
