Hi All

i have just replaced my broken boiler with a working model. I have gone through the stickies and bled the pump, and rads. There seems to be a noise (sounds like air) in the boiler when it first fires, after a min or so it is fine. It is an Ideal mini C24. The system heats the rads fine. Is there anything else to do which will get rid of the noise or is it normal?

Are you an RGI?

If you've changed combi for combi you can't have gone that wrong, it's probably just air and will clear on it's own.

No, but my mate is and he is coming round to sign off tomorrow.

Thanks for the response, it seems to be getting better as it works.

On a slightly different note, when the system was installed my plumber had to connect the hot water onto existing pipe work, this has meant when i call for DHW the water has quite a long run before it gets to the boiler, will this cause the boiler a problem?
