hello, my machine seems to be getting very hot - especially on the clear part of the door and when its spins at the end of cycle there is still soap/foam around the door. many thanks for any comments received.

What temperature programme are you using?

Not unusual for the door to get hot on 60 and 90 progs.

Make sure you're not putting too much powder in too - could be cause of bubbles left at end of prog.

what brand of soap powder?

i once had a call for similar to you, they were using hand wash detergent in a m/c

thank you for your comments.

I am using regular washing powder in tablet form and the recommended amount. the programme i am using is a 60 degree one. i tried to use a cooler programme but the machine became very hot and actually scalded the powder dispenser slightly brown. there does seem to be a slight burning smell when the machine gets very hot. the door is too hot to the touch.
