Hi Guys I am new to boiler fixings need your advice.
Just moved to new house and my boiler loose pressure very quickly ( in 2 hours from 2 bar to O ) and I have closed most of the radiators valves to see if it helps to srop loosing p but no good.
please can anyone help?
Boiler works ok if topped up pressure.
hot water and central heating works ok as lond as you keep topping up with water.

is the prv letting by ?
the external copper pipe.

yes i just checked it, its wet. this must be the problem. as the pressure drops fairly rapidly..

whats the best way to go about fixing the problem?

you can open it flush it through then shut it. refill system see if it holds if not change it.

Thanks for that I did flush the ssystem .
how easy/difficult is it to change thisw valve?

nothing to worry about straight foreward.

ok cheers I get new valve and change it.hope that will cure the pressure leak.
