Knocking in Water Pipes

I have recently installed and small basin, with a mon0block tap, when the hot water tap is turned on low there is a knocking and high vibration in the pipes. It does not do this with the bath or shower which is on the same line. Could anyone please assist as to what could be causing this. Thanks

Loose pipes is the classic answer but I've rarely actually found any. Try Altering the amount your stop cock is open. Ultimately you can fit a shock absorber.
