Hi,

I am looking at getting a mixer shower for my bathroom. There would need to be some new pipes to come off the baths pipes which would need to be 'hidden' into the wall (the tiles have already been removed). We would be looking at about one and a half to two meters of pipe to connect.

Is this about a days work for a plumber? About how much would a plumber charge for this (I will buy the mixer shower off the internet to get it cheaper)?

Thanks

what type of mixer bar mixer, concealed, exposed mixer ?
what are the walls plasterboard, block ?

can't see job can't quote.

so you want a budget job done ?
you buying the shower you'll more likely find the installer won't warranty the shower only the pipework.

if it needs removing due to a faulty mixer it will be re chargeable

At first read it doesnt sound any more than a days work but depends where in the country you live really

There might be problems with your current system so nobody can give you a firm price on the internet

Might be able to find a cheaper shower online but not by a massive margin i would think depends if you want the hassle should it go wrong
