Gas hobs and electricity

Do all gas hobs need an electricity supply these days?

If not, can anyone point me in the direction of hobs that don't, or are battery-pack ignited?

Just use a box of matches to light the rings on the hob.
I wouldn't think there's any out there that use batteries to power the ignition.

Lack of access to replace batteries would be the big problem.

There are plenty with pitzo electric ignition, try a google search.
