Interesting how a joiner states a "new standard blue handsaw" As an "old school" carpenter & joiner I would not use anything but a properly sharpened Disston.

So are you saying even yourself would not be able to do it by hand saw?

i have done it by hand before, but a router gives you a far better cut and its a lot easier. find a local chippy and ask him to do the cuts for you it will take him about 20 min and will cost you a drink

YEAH RIGHT,your really going to use a beautiful piece of engineering on a scabby bit of bush-board.YOUR nuts if you did.

i like the BACHO barracuda saws,they feel firmer then the ****e jack saws you can get.
but lets face it there all throw away.
