Hi I don\\\'t know that much on how to do this but I currently have a hole through the wall for a pond pump plugged into an RCD usi a normal 3 pin plug. We want to put some patio lights up and I was thinking about putting a weatherproof switch out in the garden one switch for the pump and one for the garden lights. Could i just use the existing plug idea to power the new switch junction box and then power my two devices off of it??
Thanks in advance.

What are:
The rating of the pump
The rating of the lights
The rating of the fuse in the plug
The size of the cables
The type of cables (ordinary flex, hi-tuf etc)
The routes that the cables will take to the switch, and from the switch to the lights and the pump
