My hoover wdm120 will not cut off the water supply it ends up filling the drum until it overflowing and water flows from the back of the \\\"overflow drain pipe\\\" at the back.If i move the control to the next cycle it will spin ,rinse and drain water then stop. But the cloths will still be wet. : :( [/img]

a washing m/c will stop filling when the pressure switch is satisfied.

on the outer drum there will be a "bottle" this connects to the pressure switch via a pipe, the botttle could be blocked, the pipe could have a hole in it, the pipe may also T off to the door lock, and this bit may have come off (doubtful)

I would check the bottle first
then the pipes to it (it may have rubbed and worn a hole)

you can see a hotpoint pressure switch here
