I have installed some decking in the garden and it looks great.

However I don't want to treat it I can get away with it.

So do I need to treat it ? Will it rot if I don't ?

The frame underneath has been treated.

deckboards should have been pressure treated.

The best way to look after them is clean them once a year and then oil them.

why dont you want to look after it?

Why don't I want to look after them ?

Coz I'm bloody lazy  .

I guess I'm gonna have to oil the deck aren't I ?

I was hoping to get away with it, never mind.

Do the cut edges need treating also. If so I will need to remove the "picture frame" to get full access.
