Vaillant turbomax plus 824E

Hi, A friend of mine has the above boiler and it has gremlins...

The room stat is turned off, timer off, no one home but the radiators are hot when she comes home from work.

She also says that she can run a bath and not need to put any cold water in, so perhaps not as hot as it should be.

Sound like the diverter valve?

All advice greatly appreciated.

does sound like diverter on preheat causing the rads to warm up.

Thanks for that,

Figured it would be either the diverter valve or the board gone haywire.

I guess the diverter is always gonna be the best/cheapest starting point.

I forgot to mention that she has only recently purchased this house and the Central heating system had been drained to protect it from frost damage.

She had a qualified plumber recommision it for her.

Thanks for your tips,

My last note was just to give more strength to the likelyhood of the diverter with it being sat idle for however long it was.
