Hotpoint Ultima WMA63 - 5 Beeps & Keyhole Symbol Flashin

Can anyone decode this fault for me please?

WMA63 on rinse programme stopped full of water - repeated 5 beep sequence accompanied by flashing keyhole symbol. Door is not locked and opening & shutting it does not clear fault.

Hi,

I have a very similar problem. When the door is shut, it locks (I can hear the click and can't reopen) but then the red keyhole light appears and 5 beeps are heard.

Does anyone know what this might be?

Is child lock on.

Any water in the drum ,if so it won't open till it's empty. Check the wiring is connected to the pcb make sure they are tight.

Hi, there's no water in the drum. If I switch the machine off, the door lock eventually comes off. If I shut the door and start a wash I can hear the door lock click, the door won't pull open and the wash wont start. The red keyhole light flashes and the appliance beeps 5 times.

I took the lock out last night and everything appears to be fine with it.

Check the pcb wires on the top pcb poss loose.
