can the existing ones be re used for a new boiler? if they can but then became faulty are they expensive to replace?

Standard domestic circulators (pumps) and motorised valves are about £50 quid each to buy.
To fit a replacement pump is easy if the pump valves (which are separate from the pump) are in good condition. Suggest you fit new pump valves while system is drained down during boiler change.
Changing motorised valves require system to be drained down, which is a pain in the....., but if it's just the motorised head that's faulty, then it can be changed without draining.
