I want to remove my kitchen radiator. I have channelled out the concrete where the pipes emerge and have found the Tee pieces for the flow and return. Where i would like to cap the pipe is on a bend! so i don't think i could use a push fit cap.
I thought about soldering it but i don't think the pipe will drain as it is lower than the drain point for the system.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

I don't think there's a proper way to reliably join onto or cap a copper pipe on a bend - if you could get it dry and get an end feed cap onto it far enough on and get enough solder in there, it might work.

But then again it might not.

I would cut back to before the bend, renewing other 'T' s and pipework if necessary.

Thanks for advice

Think i'll have to try the end cap if i can figure a way to remove all the water!
