Are you getting a H5 Fault after replaceing the PCB?? Then all you need to do is: Take out the old jumper pins (Black plastic covers that sit in the top right hand corner of the old PCB) Take these pins out 1 by 1 and fit in the exact position on the new Orange PCB box. These pins tell the PCB that it's OK to fire up.

You need to do this to remove the H5 fault. So turn off all the power, and start the above proceedure making sure they are nice and tight. Now make sure you're system is calling for water and heat and then "Re-power" the system, Hey-Presto, you should now have a burner light and a C .

Happy days...

the pins actually tell boiler what rate of gas to burn and what type of boiler it should be, so if you dont get the right combination of pins(and there is lots of diff combinations) then you might turn ur system boiler into a combi or vise-versa. more importantly u if u get wrong combination of pins you could uprate ur boiler from 12KW to 35Kw?? hope u know what your playing with as i certainly would not advise anyone changes a pcb on any boiler unless they are GAS SAFE REG,

A pcb might just look like a simple circuit board but everythin a boiler does is controlled by it.

not as simple as u think

When you change the pins and turn the power back on to the boiler, a number will appear, this number tells you what the boiler is configured to therefore you will know if correct or not.
