Worcester Bosch Greenstar Highflow 440 Boiler - Flue

Hi..We have just acquired a Worcester Bosch Greenstar Highflow 440 condensing boiler and I need to convert it from a vertical flue to a horizontal flue.

I have bought a 90 degree bend that is suitable for any greenstar boiler and it will not fit in the casing.

Do I need to purchase a flue kit?...or I've heard there is a 93 degree bend available...do I need that instead?

Flue lengths on the old 440 were very, very limited with 100mm flue; and the flue terminal for a horizontal was unique to this boiler in the Worcester range. You can't use the standard WB horiz condensing flue.

You can on the newer 440Cdi. Is that what you have?

Normal comments about you being Gas Safe Registered apply.

I'm afraid I put this question on the 'Forum Information' bit of the website first. I realised my mistake and repeated the question in the 'plumbing' bit. I'm fairly new to this site and still finding my way around the rather complicated layout.

I haven't removed any of the replies...and agree completely with your advice.

op - this was nothing to to with anything that you did, so really there was no need for you to apologise. I saw that this post was on the general info, gave my reply and alerted the mods that it needed moving. During the move, my comment was removed for some reason and I was querying what was the reason for doing so.
