We have have had a new Worcester Bosch DT 10RF digistat programmer fitted after the first programmer (Altech) failed after a month! Boiler is a WB 28I greenstar junior.

can anyone tell me what the hot water setting should be set to?
Sorry if this is a really dim question after 15 years of a back boiler we obviously havent quite got to grips with a combi, i thought as it is a combi that it wouldnt need setting, the fitter said he didnt normally fit this type of programmer so to look at the book which is funny as thats what he said about the last one  , so much for WB approved installers!

Thank you
H

All it does it controls the pre-heat.

When the pre-heat function is on (the eco light is off) the boiler stores a very small amount of heated hot water which enables hot water to arrive at the tap quicker than if it were off.

Id leave it off. i.e "eco" light illuminated.
