MIRA 415 - No Hot Water

Can anyone help with this?

I have come across an old mira 415 today that does not get hot when operated.

The boiler fires up when the hot taps in the house are open but when the shower is operated the boiler does not fire up?

I assume it is the cartridge that will need to be replaced?

It might respond to a service - strip, clean, lubricate, reassemble. You can get service kits for them.

Picked up one from merchant along with cartridge but still no joy

it doesn't have any fitted and was told not to fit any if there ane none present?

i'd be more loking at a boiler issue than shower.

as for the prv you would be better with a pev (pressure equalising valve)

i am now thinking issue with heat exchanger?
