Does anyone know how I change the range on the wireless PIRs as they would appear to have a triggering distance of about 18"

Any help gratefully recieved as its a friend I'm helping and I have no clue !!

This depends on the make of pir.
Depending on the height they have been installed will also effect their range.
Pir's are usually fitted about 2.3mts from floor level. Inside the Pir there might be an adjustable screw where the pcb can slide up or down inside the case.

I think they are Newlec as well, but I shall get one opened up and find out
