CCTV dvr problem

I have got a Robox agility dvr recorder 500gb with only 2 cameras attached, the problem is over the last 2 nights the motion detector is saying it has picked something up about 3 times a minute , it only happens when its dark..I know this happens when it rains but this is when it is dry..I have looked through the recordings and cant find anything that may trigger it and it is only happening on one camera,I have put the manual away that good I cant now find it

The whole job sounds like a right bodgeit and leggit

Probs your detector is the problem and not the dvr tbh.

what you using for motion??

pro job or diy??

DIY job, cameras are sony ccd 1/3 36 led outdoor , its been working ok though since install

I think he means the motion detection on the dvr not an external device i.e redwall. motion detection is best used indoors only imo, outside moving trees(wind), rain and small insects are just a few triggers. Even shadows can trigger a dvr motion detect i am told
