Breathable paint

I painted my Lounge with breahable paint (picked it up by mistake), my friend said it will leave a damp smell. Is this true?

What should I do, should I just paint over with Matt emulsion?

Any help please.

When you say breathable do you speak of a microporus paint, help us here with a little more description and someone will help you out.

Matt emulsion is breathable anyway.

I think that you will be fine.

There is a rare situation in which you might have smelly walls regardless of the paint used.

In the link you will see that crown get a bashing but the problem is down to the fact that paints now have less solvents.
